 Sitting at the middle is His royal Majesty Ogiame Ikenwoli, the Olu of warri, second Olu left, hadiza Bala Usman MD NPA and others when the executive management team of NPA visited the palace in warri Delta state.
The Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority Hadiza Bala Usman has asserted that her management would sustain her open door policy where anyone who has positive ideas to contribute to the efficient and effective management of the Port industry can reach her.
Speaking during her courtesy call to his royal majesty Ogiame Ikenwoli the Olu of Warri in his palace yesterday, the MD said the management of NPA would  do everything possible to stimulate business at the Warri Port in other to encourage and assist the youth of the area.
Usman who expressed her management readiness to collaborate with the royal father also asserted that " I believe in the nurturing of relationships in our joint effort to develop a flourishing society and country".
In his response, his royal majesty Ogiame Ikenwoli the Olu of Warri acknowledged the MD of NPA as the first woman to take over the organization since establishment, affirming that he trust her tenure would be a landmark that will remain a reference point in the annals of NPA.
His majesty appealed to the MD to consider invigorating the Ports of Warri  and Koko and the employment of some of the youth in the area, in order to further reduce restiveness in the land assuring the Chief Executive that the entire kingdom is behind her.
In the Board room of NPA Warri, the Port Manager Mr Simon Okeke listed some of the Port's challenges to include the need to replace missing bouys which are critical for better navigation of the channels also appealing to the Management to look into the encroachment of lands belonging to NPA by the community.
The MD and her entourage later inspected facilities of Intels Services Nigeria  Limited, and Julius Berger Nigeria Limited within the Port's complex.
